Flickr Find

I love using Flickr's Explore tab to look at photos I might never find through my contacts and their maze of tags. I found Nicole Gee's photostream in the Interstingness section and immediately added her to my contact list. Everyday, I look forward to her next still life photo. Often afterwards I think, gosh, I really want a muffin right now!

Update your computer for new daylight savings hours!

As you all hopefully know this Sunday March 11th is the new date for day light savings time this year.  This is the first year of the change which moved it 3 weeks early than normal.  If you are like me, your computer software is not brand spanking new. So, what's a girl to do?  The short answer from my IT department:  If you are running Windows XP or Vista and you have applied all the updates from Microsoft automatic updates your computer is probably good.  An easy way to confirm that is to click on this link and open it in your browser:

http://dst.cdes.umn.edu/   This check should work for Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX.

If you see the screen below, your computer did not pass the test like mine!  Follow the instructions below to correct problem.

   

For Windows based computers the best solution would be to use Microsoft Update to apply all the latest patches to your computer.  Here is a link for instructions on using that:

Mobile MLS

Hey, now this is cool.  Pacific Union offers mobile MLS.  (And yes, I work for Pac Union, but it's still COOL!)  Check this out, users can access information using a cell phone or PDA to search for property descriptions and photographs, contact an agent (preferably me ;), locate an office, even perform mortgage calculations. 

The device pulls information from the Pac Union site, but unlike a many other brokerage sites, we actually display all listings from MLS, not just our own.   

It's great for when you are driving around and see a house for sale--just look it up by street name to find out the price or pictures of the interior.  Or when you visit an open house and want to send me a note about it--that note delivers the entire listing to me directly.
